I was born and raised in upstate New York. As a child I often went to Sunday school, but was not raised in a Christian home. Attending Sunday school was one of my favorite childhood memories. Some of my fondest memories were being able to participate in offering, and being around adults who seemed to genuinely like children. Shortly after highschool I moved to Tucson, Arizona. It was here that I met my husband, and together we raised our two daughters. Since I had such positive memories of Sunday school as a child, I wanted my girls to have the same experience. I began attending a christian church. My husband and I didn’t realize how a relationship with God would not just affect our girls, but ourselves as well. The pastor tirelessly reached out and encouraged us, and it was at this church and through this pastor that Jesus called me to Him, and I knew that I wanted to serve Him in whatever capacity I could.

I have been a part of the ministry field for 35 years. I have served in full-time children/youth ministry. I have also been involved in community outreach programs, led bible studies, and have been involved in mentoring as well as numerous other ministries. My desire is to see all children/youth ministry leaders be equipped to do what God has called them to do.
