Politics, The Pulpit, and Peace – How We Can Be Peacekeepers
As we move closer to the midterm elections on November 8th, our guest today highlights our call to be peacekeepers in a country deeply divided politically. Dave Drum, Executive Director for J17 Ministries declares, “Our job is to work for a peace where right relationships reign, where justice prevails, where wholeness replaces division. Phrased more accurately, our job is not so much to make peace as it is to partner with Jesus and allow Him to be the Prince of Peace in our midst, through our words, actions, and attitudes. Jesus calls us to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.”
